Trend reports present current social media trends in a structured and readable format. In this guide, you'll learn how to read report sections, which metrics to focus on and how to integrate findings into your campaign strategy.
Report Sections
Each trend report consists of six main sections. Each section provides insights from a different perspective.
- Executive Summary: A brief overview of the period's highlights. Ideal for quick decision-making.
- KPI Snapshot: Key indicators such as number of content analyzed, average viral score and engagement rate.
- Trend Radar: A ranked list of detected trends by popularity and growth rate.
- Creative Winners: Highest performing content and their common characteristics.
- Content Library: A filterable list of all analyzed content by category.
- Content Gaps: Opportunity areas in your industry where not enough content has been produced.
How to Read Trend Radar
Trend Radar ranks detected trends by confidence score and content count.
- Similarity Threshold: A value measuring how similar the content is. 0.88–0.90 is the standard range.
- Cluster Size: Number of content in the trend. Larger clusters indicate more established trends.
- Average Viral Score: Average viral potential of content in the cluster. 7+ shows high performance.
- Trend Description: AI-generated text explaining what the trend is and why it's rising.
Trends at high similarity thresholds (0.90) represent more specific formats, while lower thresholds (0.88) capture broader theme trends.
